Threadwork
The short version
Threadwork does not collect personal data in the background and has no accounts, advertisements, analytics SDK, in-app purchases or app-managed crash reporting. It has no internet permission and does not go online by itself. The only data that ever reaches Endroid is an icon request, and only when you choose to send one by email yourself.
What happens on your device
To find apps that don't have a Threadwork icon yet, the app looks at the apps on your device that appear in your launcher. To offer one-tap apply, it checks which supported launchers are installed. This happens only on your device. Your favourite icons, and the apps you have prepared a request for (with the time), are saved on your device between sessions. None of this is sent to Endroid or to other parties by the app.
Icon requests
Icon requests are included with the app at no extra charge. You pick the apps, and Threadwork prepares an email to info@endroid.nl in the email or sharing app you choose, with one zip file attached. The zip holds, for each app you picked: its name, its package and component name and its current icon. Nothing is sent unless you send that email yourself, and you can read it before you do.
We use a request, and the email address it came from, only to draw the requested icons and to answer you. We keep requests while we work on the icons; you can ask us to delete your request emails at any time. A request does not guarantee that an icon will be added, or when.
Links to Google Play
If no compatible launcher is installed, the app can open a launcher's Google Play page for you. That page is opened by Google Play or your browser, under their own privacy policies.
Data retention and deletion
You can remove the app and its local data using Android's app settings.
Google Play and Android
Google Play and Android may process information under their own privacy policies, for example when you buy or download the app or enable platform diagnostics. This is separate from data collection by the app. Endroid does not receive your payment details.
Contacting us
If you choose to email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use this information to respond to your request. Avoid sending sensitive personal information. You can contact us to request deletion of your support correspondence, subject to any applicable legal obligations.
Children
The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change, we will update this policy and the Google Play data safety declarations before releasing the affected version.
